14 And they said unto them, [a]We cannot do this thing, to give our sister to an uncircumcised man: for that were a [b]reproof unto us.
15 But in this we will consent unto you, if ye will be as we are, that every man child among you be [c]circumcised,
16 Then will we give our daughters to you, and we will take your daughters to us, and will dwell with you, and be one people.
